Since opening our doors in 2005, Warrior (aka Tandez Academy of Martial Arts) has proudly served the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly two decades. We offer top-tier, reality-based self-defense and fighting arts across a variety of disciplines. Our mission is to teach progressive martial arts that are effective in real-life combat situations. We take pride in providing training in Jeet Kune Do, Kali Escrima, Silat, Muay Thai, Boxing, and MMA. Our classes are beginner-friendly and tailored for both adults and children ages 6 and older.

We are the only school in the Bay Area that teaches Kali Escrima, the Filipino Martial Arts system based on the Inosanto-LaCoste Kali approach. Kali Escrima includes training in stick fighting, knife fighting, and empty-hand techniques, emphasizing skills for disarming armed opponents.

Muay Thai Training at Warrior

We are proud to provide kids training in both Jeet Kune Do and Kali Escrima. Our Junior Warriors classes introduce younger students to the youth versions of these styles, allowing them to learn Boxing, Thai Boxing, MMA, and Stick Fighting from the Filipino Martial Arts. Ages 6 - 12.

The owner, founder, and head instructor of Warrior has over 29 years of martial arts experience. He is a third-generation Jeet Kune Do instructor within the Bruce Lee lineage. Additionally, he is a certified instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto and Paul Vunak and holds ranks in multiple martial arts disciplines.

Our head instructor, Guro Adrian Tandez, is a member of the Inosanto International Martial Arts Instructors Association.
